How is this calculated?
Each opponent is scored by how many standard deviations above the average playoff team of that season it was, blending its Elo and SRS going into the playoffs with its star power and total PPP.
A run's difficulty is the round-weighted average of those scores, plus a bonus for how decisively a strong opponent was beaten (a 4-0 earns the most, a 4-3 the least). The blends, the bonus and the round weights are in the settings above.
Players credits each player with the runs they won in proportion to their share of the title.
Under each run, reference lines show where the average opponent ranked in its playoff field, when the field's three strongest other teams went out, and how the road compares with the usual one for champions with the same seed. They describe the draw, not the team, and are not in the score.
Season-level numbers cannot see injuries. A † beside an opponent marks a series where a key player was hurt; the note under the run says who and where it was read. It is for reference and does not change the score.
